FAPESP and Bangor University issue call for proposals Versão em português

FAPESP and Bangor University issue call for proposals Research projects involving the exchange of researchers will be supported. Institutions will provide up to £5,000.00 per proposal and per year (Bangor)

The São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP), Brazil and Bangor University, United Kingdom, issue a public Call for Proposals for the support of research projects involving the exchange of researchers under the scientific cooperation agreement between the institutions.

Researchers regarded as eligible to submit proposals within the scope of this call are, by FAPESP, principal investigators of ongoing research projects funded by FAPESP within the support lines: Regular Research Awards, Thematic Projects, Young Investigators, or Research, Innovation and Dissemination Centers (CEPIDs/RIDCs). By Bangor University can submit proposals researchers at with a contract of employment for the full length of the proposed project.

Proposals should include the names of the collaborating researchers from both the State of São Paulo and Bangor University and clearly state the mutual benefits of the collaboration.

The present Call invites Research Proposals in all fields of knowledge. The closing date for submission of proposals is March 22nd, 2013.

The collaborative activities foreseen in this project should start while the researcher holds a FAPESP research grant related to the activities of this Call for Proposals. The maximum duration of each project is 24 months.

FAPESP will provide funding of up to £5,000.00 per proposal and per year and the Bangor University will provide funding of up to £5,000.00 per proposal and per year, for the period established in the award, to cover reasonable research-related expenses including mobility expenses.

Each Party will commit up to the equivalent of £25,000.00 per year in the present call.
