THE DEEP UNDERGROUND NEUTRINO EXPERIMENT

DUNE WORKSHOP June 1st, 2017 – 8:30 am – FAPESP

The workshop will focus on the actual status and future development, on the short and long-term, of the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab) neutrino program with emphasis on their experiments: Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE), ProtoDUNE, Short Baseline Near Detector (SBND) and Liquid Argon in a Test Beam (LArIAT).

Furthermore, the meeting will be an opportunity to discuss the involvement and contribution of São Paulo and Brazilian research groups that already have partnerships with the Fermilab program, as well as to explore the wide range of possibilities for new groups willing to join the program.
