The São Paulo Research Foundation, FAPESP, invites you to the
2nd Workshop on Multi-User Equipment and Facilities
July, 12th 2016
8 am to 5 pm
Venue: FAPESP – Rua Pio XI, 1500 – Alto da Lapa – São Paulo
The Workshop will provide an opportunity to discuss the usage of multi-user equipment, focusing on the characteristics of the institutional organization necessary to provide ample access to the scientific community of the state of São Paulo. The essential role of facilities will be a special topic of interest, as well as other forms of multi-user equipment organization in the day-to-day research. The presentations will cover the different kinds of facilities organization and the role of the host institutions, how they can best promote the access to up-to-date equipment and how they envision their future development looking at the increasing sophistication and flexibility in the experimental set-ups. The last part of the Workshop will be dedicated to Mass Spectrometry, as a case of study of multi-user equipment in the state of São Paulo.
