Brazilian Initiative on Precision Medicine (BIPMed)

The São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP), under the scope of the program Research, Innovation and Dissemination Centers (RIDCs), and the Brazilian Initiative on Precision Medicine (BIPMed) invite you to the

VI Workshop of the Brazilian Initiative on Precision Medicine (BIPMed) in conjunction with the

Biannual meeting of the Brazilian node of the Human Variome Project (HVP)

November 7th, 2018 | 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. | FAPESP Auditorium

With the consolidation of BIPMed as a model for the ethical and responsible sharing of data, one of the main challenges now is to expand and fully integrate BIPMed with similar projects in the world. In this workshop, we aim to present the new achievements of the initiative, including its nationwide expansion in Brazil as well as internationally.

BIPMed (www.bipmed.org) is an initiative of five Research Innovation and Dissemination Centers (RIDCs) supported by FAPESP: The Brazilian Research Institute for Neuroscience and Neurotechnology (BRAINN), Center for Computational Science and Engineering (CCES); Center for Research in Cell Therapy (CTC); Obesity and Comorbidities Research Center (OCRC) and Center for Research on Inflammatory Diseases (CRID). Since its initial introduction in November 2015, it has achieved significant progress in promoting the sharing of genomic and health-related information.
