Scientific collaborations between São Paulo and Italy will be supported Versão em português

FAPESP’s call with National Research Council of Italy will finance projects of up to two years in agriculture, physics and genetic medicine.

FAPESP announces the launch of the first call for proposals in partnership with the Italian Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR), the National Research Council of Italy. The institutions will support up to three projects jointly prepared by research teams from the state of São Paulo and Italy. Interested parties should make proposals according to the three areas of knowledge covered by the call: agricultural sciences, physics and medical genetics.

The proposals must have a maximum duration of 24 months and be signed by two principal investigators, one linked to a research and higher education institution in the state of São Paulo (public or private) and the other to one of the CNR institutes.

Once the proposal is formalized, each responsible researcher must submit it to their respective funding agency. The call admits versions in Portuguese and Italian for the proposals, or a single English version. The deadline for submission is June 25.

FAPESP provides for this call contributions of a maximum of R$ 150,000 per project per year. The proposals will be carried out according to the standards and conditions of FAPESP’s Regular Research Grant scheme. Submissions must be made via SAGe platform.
