FAPESP announces new call for proposals with Swiss National Science Foundation Versão em português
Proposals for research collaboration of up to 48 months will be supported in all areas of knowledge.
FAPESP and the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) announce a new call for proposals, open to all areas of knowledge, to be submitted simultaneously to both institutions by the investigators in São Paulo and in Switzerland.
Regardless of the support opportunity chosen, the grant conditions include some exceptionalities, including a maximum duration of 48 months, for both Regular Research Grants and Thematic Projects.
Submissions must be preceded by an eligibility consultation by the São Paulo PI. The deadline for submitting proposals is March 31, 2024.
This call is the fourth initiative under the agreement signed between both institutions. FAPESP and SNSF will each support teams led by a PI based in their respective state or country.
The agreement also provides that each party act as Lead Agency in alternate years, with the responsibility for evaluating the proposals according to the standards of their support instruments, with later confirmation of the decision by the Partner Organization. FAPESP will be acting as Lead Agency from October, 2023 to September, 2024.
