Anamaria Aranha Camargo

Anamaria Aranha Camargo has a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences and a PhD in Sciences from the University of São Paulo. Her main line of research is the study of genetic and epigenetic changes that occur in tumor cells, aiming to develop new tools for diagnosis, prognosis and treatment of the disease.

Currently, she is coordinator of the Molecular Oncology Center and Research Manager at Sírio Libanês Hospital.

She actively participates in the training of new researchers, has 108 articles published in indexed international journals and more than 4,600 citations.

For her various contributions in the area of Genetics and Genomics, she received the award of Scientific and Technological Merit of the State of São Paulo, the Moinho Santista Award for Young Scientist in Genetics from the BUNGE Foundation and the Octavio Frias de Oliveira Award from the Cancer Institute of the State of São Paulo.
