Escolas Interdisciplinares FAPESP 2026
Inspired by the experience of the São Paulo School of Advanced Science (ESPCA) program and the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings, FAPESP will hold the FAPESP Interdisciplinary Schools 2026: Exact and Natural Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine; and Humanities, Social Sciences, and Arts, from November 9 to 13, 2026.
The FAPESP Interdisciplinary Schools 2026 offer a rich and diverse program designed to foster dialogue across different fields of knowledge. Over five days, participants will have the opportunity to interact with leading researchers, who will present their own work and take part in discussions and cultural activities, creating a dynamic environment for learning and collaboration.
The initiative aims to offer postdoctoral researchers from across Brazil the opportunity to:
- Interact with leading scientists from Brazil and abroad;
- Learn about research careers and the major challenges across different fields of knowledge;
- Present their own work through short presentations and poster sessions;
- Build lasting professional networks;
- Participate in lectures, workshops, discussions, and cultural activities.
The FAPESP Interdisciplinary Schools 2026 provide an intensive experience of knowledge exchange and interdisciplinary collaboration, bringing together researchers in an environment dedicated to innovation, scientific dialogue, and the development of long-term professional connections.
